Check out UNC-TV’s original documentary El Greco to Velázquez: Art during the Reign of Philip III, which premieres tonight at 9pm.  The production incorporates the rich history explored in the Nasher Museum exhibition with beautiful footage of contemporary Spain, showcasing the very landscape that inspired El Greco, Velázquez and their contemporaries.  Likewise, UNC-TV’s Scott Davis will  interview the Nasher’s own Senior Curator Sarah Schroth and Director Kimerly Rorschach, as well as noted Renaissance scholar Theodore Rabb.  If something else must tear you away from the televison tonight, rest assured that there will be encore presentations of the show throughout the month.
