Blog / Troika Music Festival Schedule – November 6-8

By Libby Lynn

Durham’s 6th annual Troika Music Festival kicks off Thursday, November 6 and runs through Saturday, November 8th at several different venues around town. The festival features a lot of great local music – The Rosebuds, Tooth, I Was Totally Destroying It, Schooner, Midtown Dickens, Bellafea and The Dry Heathens, to name a few – as well as famous fancy folks like Kimya Dawson, who will be singing her guts out at the Carolina Theater on Friday, November 7th at 9:30PM.

Venues also include Durham Central Park, the Duke Coffeehouse, The Marvell, Alivia’s, James Joyce, Broad Street Café, Bull McCabe’s (I’m sure they get tired of being referred to as “The old Jo & Joe’s”), Sirens Lounge, and Durham’s soon-to-be bar/beer/band spot The Pinhook (which is rumored to be a non-smoking joint, for all you anti-tobacco enthusiasts).

Check out Troika’s 2008 schedule for more information. Ticket prices are here. See you there!
