It’s taken the art world about three months to recover from Art Basel Miami Beach.
Just in time.
Next week we are headed to New York’s Armory Show, located (brrrrrrrr!) on Piers 92 & 94 on Manhattan’s far West side on the Hudson River, at 55th Street in the Passenger Ship Terminal complex. Miami it is not. But many of our favorite artists will be there, either in person or represented at gallery booths in the fair, or in gallery shows in Chelsea and other spots around Manhattan.

We will find out what catches the eye of Trevor Schoonmaker, Patsy R. and Raymond D. Nasher Curator of Contemporary Art. We will catch up with beloved American painter Barkley L. Hendricks and his wife, Susan, as they take in the Rembrandt show at the Frick Collection. Other daily updates will appear here.
