Blog / Corporate Sponsor Night!

By Wendy

Science and art belong together. Alexander Calder, after all, was a trained mechanical engineer.
We are excited to welcome a lot of sciencey types for Corporate Sponsor Night on Thursday, February 23, from 5-9 PM. Free admission goes to all Research Triangle Park employees, all Calder company sponsor employees, and members of Sigma Xi, for  “Alexander Calder and Contemporary Art: Form, Balance, Joy.”
Note: Bring your RTP business card as I.D.
This is National Engineering Week!
With support from our local Society of Women Engineers (SWE) chapters, the museum will provide fun hands-on engineering-related activities for all ages on Thursday night.
Thursday is also Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day!
Read a blog post from our friends at Sigma Xi here.
The Nasher Museum Café will also be open for dinner and/or a drink, from 5-8 PM (café closes at 9 PM). Reservations are encouraged for dinner.

Corporate Sponsor Night is made possible by NetApp, Carolina Biological Supply Company, The Research Triangle Park, Parker and Otis, Sigma Xi, The Scientific Research Society, Clinical Ambassador, American Scientist magazine, and Tech Shop.
