Hundreds turned out for the opening of “The Record: Contemporary Art and Vinyl” at Miami Art Museum this weekend. Nasher Museum curator Trevor Schoonmaker and artist Xaviera Simmons posed in her “Thundersnow Road, NC” installation in the exhibition, presented this time in a wonderful plywood-lined space. Great crowd, great press, great programs at the Miami venue. Watch a video interview on WPBT2, South Florida ’s PBS station, with Xaviera Simmons. Here’s another WPBT2 video, with Trevor Schoonmaker.
