GALLERY TOUR: DUKE COUPLES IN DIALOGUE ABOUT RAUSCHENBERG AND ARTISTS IN THE COLLECTION / Thursday, December 4, 6 PM / Join two scholarly Duke couples on a casual, personal and fun tour of Rauschenberg: Collecting & Connecting. Curator Kristine Stiles asked each couple to select works of art in the exhibition and think about them as “conversations” with an enormous range of interpretation. Couples are former Duke Provost Peter Lange and Lori Leachman, Duke’s Professor of the Practice and Director of Research in Practice Program in Economics, along with Bruce Lawrence, Duke’s Nancy and Jeffrey Marcus Professor of Religion, and miriam cooke, Braxton Craven Professor of Arab Cultures at Duke. Tours last about 45 minutes.
