MIRÓ: VISUAL POETRY / Thursday, December 11, 5:30 PM / Miró is known to have said “I make no distinction between painting and poetry.” Modern Catalan poems, selected and narrated by Silvia Vilar González, will be read in English and Catalan among Miró’s works in the gallery. Same day exhibition ticket required for gallery entrance.

Araiadne in the Grotesque Labyrinth

To accompany the exhibition Miró, the museum is hosts book discussions featuring contemporary Catalan authors. January's selection is Ariadne in the Grotesque Labyrinth by Salvador Espriu.

Sunday, January 11, 2 PM, and Wednesday, January 14, 11 AM, at the Nasher Museum. Visitors are encouraged to read the book prior to the discussions. The book is available for purchase in the  Nasher Museum Store.
