Miami connection

Right about now, contemporary art lovers are booking flights and hotels for the wild frenzy that is  Art Basel Miami Beach.
If you’re going this December, be sure to check out the Dennis and Debra Scholl Collection.
Each year, Dennis and Debra Scholl invite a guest curator to peruse their fantastic collection, take over their home for three days and hang a new show. They live at home with the results all year long. The Scholls open their home (with a beautiful bay view) to 1,500 people each year.
The honor went to Trevor Schoonmaker, curator of contemporary art at the Nasher Museum, this year.
Check out last year’s effort by Nicholas Baume on PlumTV.
And when in Miami, be sure to go to the Scholl’s exhibition space, World Class Boxing.
