In Memoriam: Horst Meyer

The Nasher Museum of Art lost a dear and loyal friend when Horst Meyer passed away last weekend. Through the years, Horst visited the museum often, and always appeared at our openings. A fan of Old Master paintings and prints, he was thrilled when The New Galleries: A Collection Come to Light opened. He came often when we were planning the gallery layout, and again during the installation process. But Horst was open to learning about and viewing contemporary art as well.
