Miro through young eyes

We just have to share this!Children from Nuestra Escuelita, a bilingual pre-K run by the Latino Educational Achievement Partnership  (LEAP), visited us in November to see Miro: The Experience of Seeing. Before the trip, they learned about color, lines and shapes. Afterward, the kids made their own Miro-inspired paintings.“Talking about shapes and colors is one thing,” said Leigh Bordley, executive director of LEAP. “Seeing Miro’s work and creating their own gave these children a real appreciation of the power of art.”
