Marclay: From Telephones to Clocks
Christian Marclay’s 24-hour time-specific video collage “The Clock” has caused a sensation at Paula Cooper Gallery in its month-long installation at the Chelsea Gallery. Although the video is in its final days, the Nasher will be showing one of Marclay’s earlier video collages, “Telephones” (1995) in its new show Building the Contemporary Collection: Five Years of Acquisitions, opening March 10.
