Exhibition Opening
Rauschenberg: Collecting and Connecting - 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM

The Nasher Museum presents Rauschenberg: Collecting & Connecting, an ambitious exhibition originating at Duke in close collaboration with the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation in New York City. The exhibition offers a fresh look at 34 of Rauschenberg’s works spanning six decades of his career, art that he reserved in his own collection.

Tour with Your Tot - 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM

Caregivers with small children ages 0-18 months can take guided public tours of the Nasher Museum’s exhibitions. Tours are offered Thursdays at 11 AM. Tours last approximately 30 minutes. No reservations necessary. Children must be in a carrier or a stroller during the guided tour. Adults pay $5 museum admission. Museum members and tots are free.

Free Family Day

Free Family Day - 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM

Free Family Days take place on select Sundays from 12-4 PM.  On these days families visiting the museum enjoy live entertainment, create hands-on projects and explore exhibitions with a gallery hunt.  Materials will be available in English and Spanish.

Admission to Mirό: The Experience of Seeing is free, but entry to the galleries will be on a first-come, first-served basis, and visitors may need to wait in line before entering the exhibition.

Celebrate Miro and Spain with Ferdinand the Bull - 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM

Hear readings in English and Spanish of The Story of Ferdinand written by Murno Leaf and illustrated by Robert Lawson.  After a related hands on activity, see the 1938 Disney animated short film Ferdinand the Bull.  Recommended for children ages 3-6 and their caregivers.
