Join Duke students for gallery talks at to discuss their installation Making Faces: At the Intersection of Art and Neuroscience. This project is part of the work of Art, Vision, & the Brain, a Bass Connections team exploring the depictions of faces and how our brains make sense of our visual and social world. This talk is also in connection with Brain Awareness Week, sponsored by the Duke Institute of Brain Sciences.

Slow Art Day

Slow Art Day Tour 2016 - 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM

The Nasher Museum of Art at Duke University will join many other museums around the country in celebrating Slow Art Day. We invite all visitors to enjoy art at a different pace. Ask for stools and sketching materials at the front desk.

 

Slow Art Tours
Saturday, April 9 at 10:30 AM and 11:00 AM
Instead of an exhibition overview, Slow Art Tours will spend 30 minutes with a single work of art. Visitors may join the group for a single tour or attend both tours for a 60 minute slow art experience. Tours are free with museum admission.
