Panel Discussion: “Creativity and Violence in Central Africa,” moderated by Richard J. Powell, John Spencer Bassett Professor of Art and Art History and Dean of Humanities at Duke. Panelists include Carol Magee and Victoria L. Rovine, both associate professors of art history, and Georges Nzongola-Ntalaja, professor of African, African American and diaspora studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The panel is co-sponsored by the Duke Africa Initiative. Reception to follow.
