Summer Days Nasher Nights:
Dinner and a Movie – Stolen - 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM

Enjoy a two-course dinner special at the Nasher Museum Café before the free screening of Stolen (2006, Rebecca Dreyfus, 84 minutes) at 7 PM.

 

Dinner reservations are encouraged, either online or by calling 919-684-6032.  Dinner patrons get reserved film seating, and additional auditorium seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 6:30PM.  Please allow extra time for parking.  For questions other than dinner reservations, please call Visitor Services at 919-684-5135.

 

Director Rebecca Dreyfus’ documentary on the Gardner Heist, “Stolen”, highlights Harold Smith’s efforts to solve the 1990 theft of the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Learn more about the documentary.

Join us for the free screening of Tim’s Vermeer (2013, Raymond Joseph Teller, of Penn & Teller, 80 minutes)at 7 PM.
 
Inventor Tim Jenison conducts experiments to discover how 17th-century Dutch Master Johannes Vermeer achieved such photographic realism in his paintings. Learn more about this film.

Audiences have the opportunity to see numerous films over consecutive Sundays that have been specifically chosen to represent the best of this film genre. The ISF is directed and curated by Emmy-nominated filmmaker Douglas Rosenberg.
