Book of hours

Free Slow Art Tour – Book of Hours - 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Enjoy art at a different pace. Instead of an exhibition overview, spend 30-45 minutes in guided exploration of our Book of Hours. The tour will be led by Gallery Guide Ruth Caccavale. Seating is provided and the tour is free with museum admission.

Led by Carole Mathison, this tour will share the highlights of the Nasher Museum’s newly reinstalled permanent collection. Learn more about the museum’s treasures from Greek Antiquities, the European Renaissance, the Early Americas, and more! Individuals, or groups of fewer than 10 people, may take this guided public tour. Guided tours are also offered Thursdays at 6 PM, although the topics may change. Tours are free of charge and last approximately one hour.

The New Galleries

Public Tour – Wilson Pavilion: What is it made of? - 2:00 PM

Tour the newly opened Wilson Pavilion with Ruth Caccavale and learn about the making of the Nasher Museum’s permanent collection. This tour will also focus on the reinstallation of the collection and the diverse materials represented within the exhibition. Individuals, or groups of fewer than 10 people, may take this guided public tour.
