Teacher’s Night Out - 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM

Start the school year off with an evening out at the Nasher! Exclusively for educators this is our teacher appreciation and open house. Tour the newly renovated permanent collection, The New Galleries: A Collection Come to Light with Nasher Gallery Guides, and independently explore our other open exhibitions. Make art with a local artist and mingle with other educators over drinks and appetizers, including wine! Register online by Wednesday, September 9, 2015.

Engaging Educator

K-12 Teacher Improv Workshop - 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM

Join us for an improv workshop led by Jen Oleniczak, from The Engaging Educator. Realizing the connection between improvisation and good teaching and communication, The Engaging Educator specializes in improv-based education workshops to approach teaching about art and other subjects.This FREE program will also include hands-on activities, time to explore current exhibitions independently and a light reception including wine. Participants will receive partial CEU credit and interdisciplinary curriculum-based materials to use in the classroom. Register online by Wednesday, October 21, 2015.
