Nasher Reads – The Prince of Los Cocuyos - 3:00 PM

Join museum staff for a group discussion of Richard Blanco’s book, The Prince of Los Cocuyos.
 
The Prince of Los Cocuyos, is Duke University’s summer reading selection for the class of 2021. The Nasher Museum has an installation in the Academic Focus Gallery related to The Prince of Cocuyos and will host two related book discussions.

Visitors are encouraged, but not required, to read the book prior to discussions. Books are available for purchase in the Nasher Museum Store.

Nasher Reads – The Prince of Los Cocuyos - 11:00 AM

Join Marianne Wardle, Andrew W. Mellon Curator of Academic Programs, and Laura Lieber, Duke professor of Religious Studies, for a discussion of Richard Blanco’s book, The Prince of Los Cocuyos.

 

The Prince of Los Cocuyos, is Duke University’s summer reading selection for the class of 2021. Marianne Wardle curated the Nasher Museum’s Academic Focus Gallery installation related to the book. Laura Lieber was a member of the campus-wide committee that selected the book. This discussion will include a visit to the installation.
