Teacher Workshop: The Nature of Art and the Art of Nature: Connecting Visual Arts and Natural Science - 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Enjoy a two-day workshop on Wed., June 28 and Thurs., June 29 from 9 AM – 4 PM.
 
Presented by Sarah P. Duke Gardens and The Nasher Museum of Art, this interdisciplinary workshop will explore the possibilities of combining science and art education in the classroom. Open to all K-12 teachers, this workshop will include:
 
-hands-on art and science activities
-practice of cognitive skills in science and art
-lessons and activities to use in the classroom
-partial CEU credit (1.2 CEUs)

 

Materials fees are $50.00. Space is limited to 25 people. Participants will be selected from the pool of applicants and notified by June 21st.
