International Screendance Festival

American Dance Festival International Screendance Festival: Screening - 2:00 PM

The free films begin at 2 PM (complete schedule of scrreening), so make plans to spend a cool Saturday at the Nasher Museum. Brunch is served in the Nasher Museum Café starting at 11 AM, and exhibitions can be viewed throughout the day. For information about complimentary museum admission and café discounts, visit nasher.duke.edu/join.

Now in its 19th year, the International Screendance Festival is directed and curated by Emmy-nominated filmmaker Douglas Rosenberg, along with Gitta Wigro and Kora Radella, and draws from more than 90 submissions from 16 countries. The festival explores the ever evolving relationship between cinema and dance.
