Join for a guided Reflections tour for visitors with memory loss. Attend a guided gallery conversation in Nasher’s newest exhibition, All Matterings of Mind: Transcendent Imagery from the Contemporary Collection. Discuss the ways in which these images encourage tranquility and meditation. Tours will include live music in the galleries.
Reservations are required in advance. Please contact Brittany Halberstadt at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 919-684-8816 or register online to book a public Reflections tour.
Groups tours for assisted care facilities, adult day centers, and support groups are available on the third Tuesday of every month and also require advance registrations.
Reflections: The Nasher Museum Alzheimer’s Program provides engaging and interactive museum tours to visitors with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia, their families, and their care partners. Reflections tours include guided discussions through the galleries, as well as live musical performances or hands-on art experiences. These special tours offer people who live with memory loss and their families the opportunity to enjoy art in the moment and to engage with the current exhibitions using multiple senses. Tours are free and free parking passes are available.
