Summer Days, Nasher Nights: Art Scrabble

On First Thursdays, join us in the Nasher Museum Café for Art Scrabble. Use Museum and exhibition-themed word lists to earn bonus points and win prizes. Game boards are available on site, and players are welcome to order dinner, drinks or dessert before, during or after the games. The Nasher Museum and Café present Live and Local, a monthly event pairing live performances by area musicians with a café menu featuring local ingredients.  Music by Al Strong Trio. Tonight's show is The Trip (2010, 107 min, UK, directed by Michael Winterbottom). In this "mockumentary," British comedian/actor Steve Coogan has been asked by The Observer to tour Britain's finest restaurants, and takes along his best friend and source of eternal aggravation, Rob Brydon. Join us in the museum café with a reservation for 5:30 or 6pm. The free film begins at 7pm in the lecture hall. Make reservations online or call 919-684-6032.
