Plan an Event During "El Greco to Velázquez"
One way to experience the unprecedented exhibition, "El Greco to Velázquez: Art during the Reign of Philip III," is to plan a private event at the Nasher Museum. The museum offers several unique and elegant settings for private cocktail parties, dinners and other events. For corporate event planners, it is a unique and memorable way to entertain clients and employees. The Nasher Museum is available for private events every night of the week except Thursdays, from the opening weekend of August 23-24 through Sunday, November 9, 2008, when the exhibition closes.
To book your event at the Nasher Museum, please contact the special events coordinator by email (nasherevents@duke.edu) or phone (919-684-3321) and confirm availability of your preferred date.

The Nasher Museum works with five approved catering companies, each with its own culinary, service and design specialties, and all experienced at creating successful events within the limitations of the museum environment.
We ask you also to confirm the booking directly with one of our approved caterers. To make corporate event planning as simple as possible, we have worked with our approved caterers to create all-inclusive event packages to be featured during the exhibition. We've taken the mystery out of event budgets and created gourmet menus inspired by the artists and their work. The optional $20,000 package includes museum rental, exhibition access, security, parking, housekeeping, AV and all catered food, beverages, service, equipment and décor for a three hour corporate event for up to 150 guests. With these fabulous all-inclusive packages, all that remains is for you to invite your guests.
