All events associated with Collecting Matisse and Modern Masters are free with admission and open to all in the Nancy A. Nasher and David J. Haemisegger Family Lecture Hall at the Nasher Museum, unless otherwise noted.

CELEBRATE MATISSE: French wine tasting
6-8 PM
Great wine and stunning art works are a natural pairing. Taste French wines with local experts. Free for same-day exhibition ticket holders over the age of 21.

CELEBRATE MATISSE: Live French Music
6-8 PM
Michele Darrah, vocals and guitar, will perform French music in the café on Friday, February 8 and Saturday, February 9, 6 - 8 PM.

PUBLIC TOURS for Collecting Matisse and Modern Masters exhibition
6 - 7 PM
Individuals, or groups of fewer than 10 people, may purchase tickets to a guided tour of the exhibition. Guided tours are offered Thursdays at 6 PM and Sundays at 2 PM.  Tour prices are $16 per person for adults, $15 per person for seniors, $10 for non-Duke students with student ID and Duke Staff with ID, and $4 per person for members and Duke Students with student ID (prices include admission to all exhibitions at the museum). Tours last approximately one hour. Space is limited. To purchase tour tickets, see our ticketing page.


LAST WEEKEND OF THE EXHIBITION, MUSEUM IS OPEN EXTENDED HOURS
10 AM to 9 PM
Last weekend to view the exhibition, Collecting Matisse and Modern Masters: The Cone Sisters of Baltimore. The exhibition closes on Sunday, February 10.

The café will be open during the museum’s extended hours on Friday, February 8, and Saturday, February 9. Enjoy a special French menu. Reservations are strongly encouraged.

11 AM-1 PM
Listen to the words of Matisse, his patrons Etta and Claribel Cone and their friend Gertrude Stein, as you view the artworks they loved.


LAST DAY OF THE EXHIBITION, MUSEUM IS OPEN EXTENDED HOURS
11 AM to 7 PM
Last chance to view the exhibition, Collecting Matisse and Modern Masters: The Cone Sisters of Baltimore. Exhibition closes at 7 PM.  David DiGiuseppe, accordion, performs French music in the Great Hall, 2-4 PM.

The café will extend brunch service until 4 PM, and offer dessert, cheese plates and beverage service until 6:30 PM.
