Nasher Museum of Art at Duke University

I work really fast, drawing since I was two, three years old. I don't even think anymore. If you give me a pen or a pencil or anything to mark, I immediately start drawing. And it's usually iconography, and so it's my subconscious dictating.

“Well, first of all, we love Jennings. With her eye and the work that she’s done with stores in the community, it’s going to be, for the first time, really a reflection of our identity as a museum, because she understands it. And even the way it looks as a space – not to mention the merchandise – it just changes things dramatically. We’re super excited.” – Nasher Museum Director Trevor Schoonmaker in the summer issue of Durham magazine. Come and visit this bright little shop filled with books, gifts, art supplies and more! June hours: Friday and Saturday, 10 AM to 5 PM. (Open Tuesdays starting June 11.)

"Here's how to cop Nina Chanel Abney's show-stopping Jordan 3s."

The GQ headline says it all: "The Summer's Hottest Air Jordan Sneakers Finally Have an Official Release Date." The article continues, "it’s no surprise that Abney’s collaborations with Nike and Jordan Brand have been uniformly striking and thought-provoking." It's not often the art world collides with the hot sneaker market! The artist's first museum solo show originated at the Nasher Museum in 2017: "Nina Chanel Abney: Royal Flush." Congratulations, Nina!
