Teen Meetup: Mapping Bull City

All area teens are invited to our Nasher Teen Meetups. This session is called Mapping Bull City. Join Nasher Staff and artist Bill Fick of Supergraphic Labs in an exploration of  A Portrait of Venice: Jacopo de’ Barbari’s View of Venice.   Make lino-print maps of the Bull City, both real and imagined. Please register in advance.

NASHER IN THE NEWS: Sotheby’s Prize
Duke Professor Esther Gabara (left), curator of Pop América, 1965-1975, accepted the Sotheby’s Prize on behalf of the Nasher Museum at a recent awards ceremony in New York City, with Richard Aste, director of the McNay Art Museum. The Nasher Museum is deeply honored and incredibly grateful to be the co-recipient of the inaugural Sotheby’s Prize in recognition of curatorial excellence for Pop América, 1965-1975, opening in October 2018 at the McNay Art Museum in San Antonio, Texas, which is partnering with the Nasher Museum to stage the exhibition, before opening at the Nasher in February, 2019.
