Join us for A Fantastic Journey on Saturday, November 4, 2023, as we honor artist Wangechi Mutu and her monumental sculpture MamaRay. Step out in your finest attire and experience an immersive world, inspired by the work of Mutu, surrounded by artists, creatives and museum friends. Admission includes an open bar, valet parking, passed hors d’oeuvres, a multi-course seated dinner, choreography by Andrea E. Woods Valdés, Duke Dance Program and an original soundscape created by Pierce Freelon.
This is the Nasher’s most important fundraising event of the year, providing vital support for community programming, educational initiatives and innovative exhibitions. The number of tables and seats is limited and an early sell-out is anticipated.
