In celebration of Lyle Ashton Harris: Our first and last love, the Nasher Museum and The Pinhook will co-host a concurrent party and soundscape with DJ FemitheFemme. At the Nasher: Soak in an immersive environment of lights, projections and sounds inspired by the work of Lyle Ashton Harris, which examines otherness and belonging; the framing and self-presentation of Black and queer individuals; violence as a dark undercurrent of intimacy and desire; tenderness and vulnerability. The DJ party at The Pinhook will be livestreamed on a large projection screen in the Great Hall. Visitors are encouraged to explore the exhibition Lyle Ashton Harris: Our first and last love. At The Pinhook, a DJ creates an immersive experience inspired by the exhibition. The party continues after 8 PM at The Pinhook with The Worriers presented by andmoreagain.

Thursdays at the Nasher

Thursdays at the Nasher is a series of free evening programs and events that showcase artists, scholars and other creatives. Programs include smart-phone poetry, sketching in the galleries, live music, film screenings, cash bars and more. We invite visitors of all ages to connect with art and enjoy the galleries until 9 PM. Learn more.
