Join us in celebrating the fall Music & Protest issue of Southern Cultures, the academic quarterly published by UNC Press with the Center for the Study of the American South, and guest edited by Brendan Greaves.
7 PM Music and conversation with Texan folksinger Tish Hinojosa, who has dedicated her career to playing border, country, and Tejano music from the southwest, performing in English and Spanish. Presented in partnership with the Charleston Conversation in Southern Affairs at the Center for the Study of the American South. This event complements the exhibition People Get Ready. Free and open to all.
