Join us in the galleries for an evening with Samantha Crain, Choctaw singer, songwriter, musician, producer and poet from Oklahoma. With songs selected to be in conversation with works of art, Crain’s set will cross genres—folk, avant-garde, rock—and languages (English and Choctaw) as she takes us on a musical tour of Art for a New Understanding: Native Voices 1950s to Now.

5:30 PM Cash bar

Sponsored by Duke’s Forum for Scholars and Publics.
