“It felt important to respond as movers to the reality of COVID’s effect on Black, Brown and Indigenous people. As both dancers and people who have employment in the service industry, we have felt firsthand the weight of having to measure our health against our livelihood. Carrie’s work draws attention to prioritizing the protection of our bodies, so what better way to respond than with our bodies?” — Vania Claiborne & Nia Sadler

Join us to watch Vania Claiborne and Nia Sadler, who performed original choreography, in response to RESIST COVID / TAKE 6! at the Nasher Museum.
