Rachel Goodwin, Out the Window, watercolor pencil and sharpie marker on sketchpad. 2019.
Rachel Goodwin, Out the Window, watercolor pencil and sharpie marker on sketchpad. 2019.

Durham artist Rachel Goodwin leads today’s program, which begins with a brief demonstration of ways to respond to art by drawing. This sketching in the galleries will focus on the importance of negative space in a drawing and how to approach drawing in a different way using negative space.

Participants then move through the galleries to continue sketching. Free with general museum admission.
