Tintype Photography with Harlan Campbell
In connection with the Nasher’s Coming into Focus photography exhibition, attendees can learn about tintype photography from Will Harlan Campbell, Instructor of Photography at the Center for Documentary Studies at Duke University, through a live demonstration of the process. All guests who register for and attend the event will be entered in a raffle. Raffle tickets will be drawn during the demonstration, and one lucky guest will win a free tintype portrait to take home.
Will Harlan Campbell is a photographic artist from Durham, NC, who has been a student and practitioner of the medium for over 30 years. His practice is centered on analog photography with a concentration in historic processes—primarily the collodion wet plate and gelatin dry plate process. Harlan teaches courses and workshops through Light Matter Studio, Photo Farm, and the Center for Documentary Studies at Duke University.
Space is limited with reservations required. Sign up HERE to attend.
