Nasher Museum of Art Image Reproduction Fee Schedule
The Nasher Museum of Art at Duke University supports scholarship and broad access to our collections. To request images for reproduction, please review the reproduction fees below and submit the form linked at the bottom of this page. All requests are subject to review and approval by the museum’s registrars.
Must have a valid NetID.
- No charge for scholarly, nonprofit publications (theses, lectures, journals, etc.).
- $75 for commercial use (text books, print/e-books, websites, periodicals, etc.).
No charge for research paper or theses.
No charge for nonprofit publications (websites, catalogues, journals, etc.).
$150 for commercial use (textbooks, print or e-books, websites, periodicals, etc.).
$175 per object for up to four angles; available when no existing photograph is on file.
Commercial use requests require prior written approval from the museum’s registrars. Please allow up to two to three weeks for processing.
The Nasher Museum may not hold copyright for all depicted works. You are responsible for obtaining any additional permissions required for your use. The Nasher Museum reserves the right to deny any request.
Once your request is approved, you will receive a contract for signature. Digital images will be delivered after a signed contract is on file.
