We invite you to join us for Family Days every second Sunday and other kid-friendly events like Nasher Community Celebration with live music and art-making activities. Find out about our tours for summer camps and homeschool groups. Visits to the Nasher are always FREE.

Sunday, May 5, 2024, 12 – 4 PM

Join us for an outdoor party featuring Afro-Caribbean dance performances and Afro drumming lessons. We’ll celebrate María Magdalena Campos-Pons: Behold with fun art activities: Camera obscura making and mobiles with modeling clay and wire. Assorted sandwiches and beverages from the Nasher Museum Cafe will be available for purchase. Cash bar. Free and open to all!

Take a trip through time and explore works of art with defining characteristics that give us a clue into when they were made. Enjoy looking at and learning about real-life fossils from the Duke Lemur Center’s collection!

We are delighted to invite you and your kids to the Nasher Museum! We are dedicated to presenting innovative and accessible collections, exhibitions, publications and programs that stimulate intellectual discourse, enrich individual lives and generate new knowledge. Our current exhibitions feature some of today’s best contemporary art and historical treasures from Africa, Medieval Europe and the Americas.
