Spirit in the Land: Exhibition Opening Events
Scenes from Opening Week
The Nasher Museum celebrated the new exhibition Spirit in the Land with preview and opening events on February 15 and 16, 2023. The exhibition was organized by Nasher Museum Director Trevor Schoonmaker. Artists from around the country made the journey to Durham to enjoy the festivities: Mel Chin, Tamika Galanis, Alexa Kleinbard, Jim Roche, Sheldon Scott, Renée Stout, Monique Verdin and Stacy Lynn Waddell. Museum members, donors, friends and visitors came to experience this original exhibition. The accompanying exhibition catalogue Spirit in the Land is available at the Nasher Museum Store.
