Pasta Workshop
Tagliatelle: The Medici’s Pasta
Thursday, October 26, 7 PM
Chef Josh “Skinny” DeCarolis, owner and chef of Mothers & Sons Trattoria in Durham, brings his giant wooden pasta board and rolling pin to demonstrate fatta a mano (handmade) tagliatelle pasta. This evening at the Nasher Museum Café, the menu will feature Josh’s tagliatelle paired with his special ragu, a tomato-based sauce of tender, slow-cooked ground pork and beef. This event, inspired by The Medici’s Painter, is free and open to all. Reflections: The Nasher Museum Alzheimer’s Program is the only guided museum tour program in the Triangle for visitors with dementia and their care partners. The Nasher’s own Jessica Ruhle, director of education and publicprograms, and Brittany Halberstadt, education assistant, recently talked about Reflections on “Aging Matters,” a show dedicated to senior health issues that airs on WPTF-AM, news radio 680.
