Robin Rhode was born in Cape Town in 1976 and raised in Johannesburg. He currently lives and works in Berlin. He received his diploma in fine art from Witwatersrand Technikon in 1998 and graduated from the South African School of Film, Television and Dramatic Arts in Johannesburg in 2000.
