The Nasher Museum is excited to welcome John Brewer, esteemed author and historian, this Thursday, October 22, at 5:30 PM.

The author will be giving a talk and signing copies of his new novel, “The American Leonardo: A Tale of Obsession, Art and Money.” Set in the years following the First World War, the novel explores the concepts of authenticity and value in the visual arts. Reception with cash bar to follow.

Brewer is the Eli and Edythe Board Professor of Humanities and Social Sciences and a Professor of History and Literature at the California Institute of Technology. He’s a fascinating conversationalist, as well, so don’t miss out on the opportunity to meet him. Please join us at the Nasher Museum this Thursday at 5:30 to enjoy a great discussion!
