Announcing the new iPhone app for the exhibition “The Record: Contemporary Art and Vinyl!”
It’s available for free here.   The app features an audio tour for “The Record” with voices of artists whose work is in the show (Moyra Davey, Satch Hoyt, Mingering Mike, Dario Robleto, Meredyth Sparks, Fatimah Tuggar) and curator Trevor Schoonmaker on the work of Laurie Anderson, William Cordova, Jeroen Diepenmaat, Christian Marclay, Xaviera Simmons and Taiyo Kimura.

The app also lets you browse around the Permanent Collection, peruse the museum’s website and blog and check out our Twitter feed.

Thank you to Juline Chevalier, curator of education, for laboriously capturing and editing the audio (we love the music and your friend’s beautiful narration!). Also, Jeremy Bandini of Duke’s  OIT Department was responsible for the thoughtful design, easy-to-use interface and excellent coding of this iPhone app.

If you do not have an iPhone, download the audio guide for free to your personal MP3 player here.
