Your participation is vital to making this year a success. For more details and to purchase tickets visit nasher.duke.edu/gala.
Annual Fund Gifts
Annual Fund gifts from friends, alumni and parents make an impact on every aspect of the museum. From presenting a dynamic array of nationally and internationally-acclaimed exhibitions, to offering a comprehensive range of educational programs that benefit our campus and community, to maintaining the facilities within our landmark building – your gift to the Nasher Annual Fund helps us do it all. All Annual Fund gifts above $50 receive a complementary annual Nasher Museum membership. Find out which level membership your Annual Fund gift entitles you.
Exhibition support allows the museum to originate and present exhibitions of the highest caliber and develop creative, enriching programs and excellent publications to accompany them. View a list of current, upcoming and past exhibitions.
The purpose of the Nasher Museum’s endowment is to support the people, collections, and programs of the museum in perpetuity. Over the years, growth of the endowment through investment return and charitable giving has enabled the museum to provide internships to students, build the permanent collection, organize significant exhibitions, launch new academic and community programs, and support a wide range of important needs. Explore the museum’s endowment giving opportunities.
By naming the Nasher Museum in your estate plans, you have the satisfaction of knowing that your support will continue in perpetuity. Bequests are the most common way to make a planned gift, but there are a wide range of options, such as life income or other deferred gifts, many of which can have exceptional tax or retirement benefits and can increase lifetime income. Donors of estate gifts are included in Duke University’s Heritage Society, which offers special benefits.

The Corporate Partner program offers an exceptional opportunity for members of the business community to forge partnerships with the Nasher Museum. Corporate Partners receive benefits to complement their level of involvement, from publicity and recognition to free employee admission and discounts on the museum’s facility rental rates for private events.
Foundation and Government
Gifts from foundations and government agencies who share the museum’s vision are critical for success. These organizations enable the museum to fulfill its mission to promote engagement with the visual arts among a broad community.
We are grateful to our partners – both large and small – who help strengthen the Nasher Museum’s core programming through generous financial support. Whether $5,000 for K-12 education and community outreach programs and bus scholarships, $50,000 in support of an exhibition, or $500,000 to increase, deepen and extend Duke student and faculty engagement, all levels of support are needed and very much appreciated.
