Join the Nasher Museum and Duke Wellness Center for an evening of community drumming and culture outdoors in the Nasher Sculpture Garden.

Led by Afro-Peruvian percussionist Marcos Napa, this workshop is inspired by the musical qualities of many of the works in the exhibition Cultures of the Sea: Art of the Ancient Americas. Come make music, decompress and learn about the rhythms and sounds of coastal Peruvian communities both ancient and contemporary. The workshop will be followed by a brief tour of the exhibition.
