Meet artist Titus Kaphar, whose work addresses racism, social justice and change in America. He earned an MFA from the Yale School of Art and received the Gwendolyn Knight and Jacob Lawrence Fellowship. His work is in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art and the Studio Museum in Harlem, NY, among others.

In late 2014, Time magazine commissioned Kaphar to create cover art in response to protests in Ferguson, Missouri. He lives and works in New York and Connecticut.
