Join us for an outdoor party featuring Mambo Dinamico with Afro-Caribbean dance performances and Afro drumming lessons. We’ll celebrate Behold with fun art activities: Camera obscura making and mobiles with modeling clay and wire. Join our friends from the Museum of Life and Science to create some watercolor paintings from unconventional materials as we make our own paints from tea herbs! Everyone is invited to join students from St. Sya Academy in a Jonkonnu parade throughout the museum. Assorted sandwiches and beverages from the Nasher Museum Cafe will be available for purchase, and LocoPops will provide free treats. Cash bar. Parking is FREE! Admission is always free and open to all.
