Exhibition curator and Duke Professor Esther Gabara talks with artist Rupert García, born in California in 1941, whose work is part of Pop América, 1965 – 1975, and artist Minerva Cuevas, born in Mexico City in 1975, whose work is based on social research and linked to popular culture. Co-sponsored by Duke’s Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies. Cash bar at 5 PM.
