Exhibition Opens: “People Get Ready: Building a Contemporary Collection”

The Nasher Museum presents People Get Ready: Building a Contemporary Collection, a culmination of 12 years of collecting art that emphasizes diversity and artists who have been historically underrepresented, overlooked or excluded, with a particular focus on artists of African descent. People Get Ready is organized by Trevor Schoonmaker, Deputy Director of Curatorial Affairs and Patsy R. and Raymond D. Nasher Curator of Contemporary Art at the Nasher Museum.
