Hands-on Workshop: Make Your Own Upcycled Bag
From banner to bag—wearable art made sustainably.
Two sessions will be available:
5:30 – 7:00 PM
7:00 – 8:30 PM
Give used marketing banners a second life! Join our hands-on upcycling workshop where we transform the museum’s promotional banners—featuring unique printed artworks—into stylish, functional bags. In this workshop, you’ll work to create a bag that can be used as a clutch, a pencil case, or cross-body bag. Materials, supplies and patterns will be provided. You’ll learn simple techniques to cut, shape, and assemble this upcycled creation. No prior experience needed—just your creativity and a passion for sustainability. Come craft with us and take home a piece of art you can wear! Space is limited and registration is required.
