Join us for a special conversation with artist, educator, activist and community arts pioneer Judy Baca, whose work is part of the groundbreaking exhibition Pop América, 1965 – 1975. This conversation, for area educators, will be followed by a public reception and then a talk by exhibition curator and Duke Professor Esther Gabara. Be among the earliest visitors to explore this exciting exhibition, the first to present a hemispheric vision of Pop art. Attending teachers will receive .3 continuing education credits. The event is free, but advanced registration is required
