“The message of this piece is that although we are physically separated, we will always be together in spirit. My works are inspired by many things. I particularly enjoy finding ways to show emotions through my dance. — Kevin Higgins, dance artist

Join us to watch a video of Kevin Higgins, who performed original choreography in response to RESIST COVID / TAKE 6! in front of Duke Gardens’ gates.

Kevin is among 12 North Carolina artists selected by the American Dance Festival to perform in front of several installations of this outdoor exhibition created by artist Carrie Mae Weems. Learn more about this collaboration.
