Join us for a gallery talk and reception to celebrate the opening of Processing Systems: Numbers by Sherrill Roland in the Nasher Museum’s Incubator Gallery. This exhibition features research materials, works in progress, and finished works of art from artist Sherrill Roland’s (b. 1984, Asheville, NC) ongoing exploration of the criminal justice system and contemporary art. The installation is curated by Pedro Lasch, Research Professor of Art, Art History and Visual Studies and Director of the Social Practice Lab, and Julia McHugh, Trent A. Carmichael Director of Academic Initiatives and Curator of Arts of the Americas. Space is limited.
